Reupholstered Driver’s Seat May 2019

Finally got around to replacing the upholstery on the bottom of the driver’s seat, which was ripped.
Pretty straightforward job, but would probably get real hog ring pliers next time. Did not replace the foam. I also put more insulation under the carpets under the seats while the seats were out.

Bluetooth Receiver w/Front Speakers August 2015

My old deck was fizzling out, so I got one that I can sync with my phone. And while I was at it, I replaced the cracked kick panels with new ones that had speaker holes built in. So I added two Pioneer speakers to fill out the audio experience. Note to self: mark where I am getting switched power (red wire) and where I'm getting constant power (yellow wire) if I ever decide to take this deck out, in order to avoid a lot of experimenting.

Rear Shocks August 2015

Replaced my rear shocks with Koni adjustables, seeking a way to minimize the poor ride inherent in the live axle rear suspension.

Trunk Sep 2014

My trunk has always just been bare metal, so I finally ordered a carpet kit (a more modern one versus the original plaid/checker type) and installed it along with a hook to secure my spare tire, which used to bounce around the trunk over bumps.

Windshield Sep 2014

I've been wanting to replace my windshield for a long time since it was horribly pitted and scratch from years of use, particularly right in front of the driver.  I looked into doing it myself and finally just had the guys at Mustang Fever do it and I am so pleased to have perfectly clear glass to see through now.
Sorry, I didn't get a good pic of the old windshield (the reflection is the top of our garage), it was difficult to show how beat up it was in a picture.
This is a great pic of the new windshield, though.

Vent Window Frame October 2011

Took out the right vent window frame with all of its blisters and corrosion and tried to find a place to re-chrome it.  Too expensive, so I bought a repro frame.  Compare the difference in the first photo, then see the loads of dis-assembly and assembly involved in the second photo.

Interior Trim Pads July 2011

For Father's Day this year, I finally got 3 trim pieces for the interior that were missing when I got the car.  This is a picture of the kids helping to install the lower dash pad.
